Congress activists stage demonstration

Khammam: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Khammam unit leaders here on Tuesday demanded that the government revoke the suspension of the Congress party MLAs immediately.

 The Congress party leaders along with nearly 300 members of party activists took out a rally from Congress party office to bus station centre and burnt an effigy of the Chief Minister in protest against the suspension of Congress party MLAs from Assembly. Speaking on the occasion, the Congress party leaders alleged that Chief Minister KChandrashekar Rao is trying to behave like a monarch without allowing opposition parties to express their views and opinions on various peoples issues in the Assembly.

The TRS party with its political power suspended the Congress MLAs from the Assembly, they said.  The TRS government had utterly failed in keeping its poll promises to the people. In the name of projects and useless schemes the team of KCR and his family members are trying to rob the public money and are deceiving the people, they remarked. The government, they demanded, should explain how it was possible to conduct the Assembly session without the presence of the Opposition 

The Congress party Corporators V Naramisha Rao, N Deepak Chowdhari, Leaders K Ranga Rao, former Libraries Chairman P Durga Prasad, Md. Fazal, R Manohar Naidu, D Danelu, R Sharath, Y Srinivas, Prataparudra, Bandi Mani, K Gopal, B Gangadhar, B Ramesh, S K Bade Saheb, N Chandram, S K Zaheer, Sampath, Venkanna, S K Johny, Md. Isaac, T Nagabushanam, S K Nanabaccha, S K Ismail,  Abdul Ahmed and K Bhavani were present along with others.
