Prepare plan for next financial year: Collector to officials
Mahbubnagar: District Collector Ronald Rose, while reviewing implementation of various development works and welfare schemes launched in the district during the past one year, on Wednesday directed the officials of all departments to prepare a comprehensive action plan for the effective delivery of the development works and welfare schemes for the next financial year ahead.
Speaking with the officials at a meeting held in the Revenue meeting hall, the Collector took stock of the working style of various departments and sought a report of their achievements during the past one year. He said all the departments must ensure that they deliver their services to the people at a faster pace and asked them to complete all the pending development works as early as possible and also suggested the department heads to review their progress at frequent intervals, so that the targets are reached in the intended targeted time period.
“We have particularly stressed on the construction of individual latrines in all the villages as early as possible. As targeted, we have directed all the officials concerned to complete the IHHL works as fast as they could and make Mahbubnagar district as one among the ODF free districts in the state,” said the Collector.
Similarly, he also asked the officials to take extra care with regard to plant saplings sown during Haritha Haaram programme last year and directed them to geotag all the plants and record their status from time to time and take adequate measures for their sustenance during the summer season. “We have also directed the officials concerned to get ready with a comprehensive action plan for the Harithahaaram programme for the upcoming financial year,” the Collector pointed out.
He also stressed that the officials must take special care to complete the construction of double bedroom houses at a speedier pace and advised them to resolve all the issues and complaints received from the public on a regular basis. Venkateshwarlu, DRO, Gopal Nayak Project Director MEPMA, Komuraiah, ZPCEO and other officials took part in the review meeting with the collector.
