Farmers rescue spotted deer from pack of dogs
Shadnagar: Attacked by a pack of stray dogs, a spotted deer was severely injured. Luckily, the farmers on seeing the deer being attacked by the stray dogs went to its rescue and handed it over to the Forest officials. According to eye witness, a spotted deer, which strayed from the nearby urban forest area on the outskirts of Shandnagar, was pounced upon by a pack of stray dogs.
In an attempt to escape from the the dogs, the deer ran into nearby agriculture fields. As it suffered severe injury in its hind legs. it collapsed in the agriculture fields. The dogs surrounded it. Noticing this, the farmers in the surrounding fields rushed to the deer and saved it.
Later, the farmers gave information to the Veterinary and Forest officials. After providing medical treatment by veterinary doctors, it was handed over to the Forest officials and was shifted to Amangal Forest.
