Initiate steps to tide over drinking water crisis:Kothagudem Collector

Kothagudem:  The District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu directed the officials to initiate steps like digging new bore wells and restoring the damaged bore well to tide over drinking water crisis in the coming summer. 
 
As part of the Prajavani, he was addressing the officials during a meeting at Integrated Tribal Development Agency Office here on Monday.  He said that the applications received during the weekly Grievance Day programme should be uploaded to the government website and forwarded to the relevant government department of the disposal.  

He also told the officer to take the special interest in the clearing the applications in the grievance day programme. He discussed the welfare schemes status in the agency area with the unit officers in the ITDA. He observed the Kalyana Lakshimi, TRICOR, Bhavitha scheme, agricultural schemes at the meeting in the Project Officer Chamber. 

Hanumanthu stated all officers should work hard to make every village Open Defecation Free (ODF) in the district with coordination of all departments. He also reviewed the rural development works progress in all villages in the district with rural development officers.  

The Collector said to motivate the village people to construct the individual toilets under the scheme of the Swachh Bharath.  Sub-Collector Pamela Sathpathy, District Rural Development Project Director P Jagath Kumar Reddy, District Tribal Officer CH Ram Murthy, Assistant Project Officer (General) K Bhemm Rao, Special Officer Employment Guarantee Scheme P Balaram, Animal Husbandry Assistant Director Venugopal, Indira Kranthi Padam officer and officer concerned participated in the programme.
