Note ban hindered growth of poor, middle-class: CPI

Khammam: State joint secretary of CPI Kunamneni Sambashiva Rao alleged that with thoughtless actions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India was heading towards economic crisis, and people would face more problems in coming days.

Speaking at a district general body meeting at the party office in Khammam on Tuesday, Kunamneni alleged that the decision of demonetisation and others hindered the growth of poor and middleclass in the country. Many small and middleclass businesses run by people have been shut down due to decision of demonetisation.

“Lot of economic disparities have emerged among people after BJP came to power. Nearly 73 per cent of the country’s wealth is in hands of one per cent of people. Just 100 families present in the country acquired more than 100 crore of public wealth each in recent times which would be very harmful,” he pointed.

The mistakes done by the Congress party before elections turned into advantage for BJP, otherwise BJP would not have won the elections. Modi created a lot of hopes among youth and farmers and later betrayed them, he criticised.

Boasting that they were real patriots of the country, the BJP party was tying up with those parties and associations which are encouraging communalism in the country along with attacking innocent people, he alleged

The idea of formation of Third Front does not belong to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, instead it was the idea of Narendra Modi which was being implemented by KCR to bring back BJP into power in coming elections, he alleged.

“The Chief Minister is deceiving people of Telangana with his sugar-coated words,” Kunamneni said adding that no single government scheme was implemented properly till date.

Party leaders Puvvada Nageswara Roa, T V Chowdhari, Bagam Hemanth Rao and Dandhi Suresh were present along with others.
