Celestial wedding celebrated on a grand scale in Suryapet

​Nalgonda: Sri Rama Navami celebrated with religious fervor across the three districts of the erstwhile Nalgonda.

The celestial wedding of Lord Rama with his consort Sita was celebrated on a grand scale with much pomp and religious fervor at SrI Sitha Rama Chandra swamy temple in Nalgonda and at  Bajana Mandiram at Bodrai Bazar, Suryapet. Thousands of devotees thronged both the temples. 

In Suryapet, Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy presented silk clothes and talambralu to the deities.District Superintendent of Police Prakash Jadav, MP Badugula Lingaiah Yadav and other local leaders participated in the event.

MLC Rajagopal Reddy participated in Sri Rama Navami celebrations at Vanka Mamidi, Shivareddygudem under Bhoodan Pochampally Mandal and Munugodu MLA Prbhakar Reddy participated in Nvami celebrations at Choutuppal Police made elaborative security arrangements at temples.
