Police conduct cordon & search operation in Yadagirigutta
Yadagirigutta: After hold a meeting with lodge owners in Yadagiri Gutta on Thursday, Yadadri District Deputy Commissioner of Police Ramchandra Reddy organised cordon and search operation. A total of 150 policemen were deployed to conduct the operation at Prasanthnagar and Ganeshnagar in Yadagirigutta in the early of Friday.
Police took three Nepali nationals, seven couples, seven history sheeters into their custody for interrogation. The police shut four belt shops, seized 40 bikes, seven auto-rickshaw and three cars as the owners failed to produce valid documents.
Speaking to the media, Ramachandra Reddy said the police were taking all measures to protect the sanctity of the Yadagirigutta. He said the police took seven couples, seven history sheeters and three illegally immigrant Nepali nationals, and one of them has Aadhaar card also.
