SCCL contractors asked to clear pending coals

Kothagudem: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Chairman and Managing Director N Sridhar asked contractors to clear five hundred million cubic meters of coal from the opencast mines.

He, for the first time, held a meeting with all opencast contractors at the Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad on Friday. During the meeting, he said as part of achievement of the goal of production of coal, they have to clear 680 lakhs tonnes this year to reduce the burden in all opencast mines. 

Meanwhile, he also held a meeting with 19 area contractors from around the Singareni mines. He also directed the officials to review opencast productions of coal every month. Directors S Shanker, B Bhasker Rao, N Chandrashekar, D N Prasad and other officers were present the meeting.
