Devotees donates for free meal scheme

Bhadrachalam: A devotee from Vijayawada, E Surendernath Chowdary, has donated Rs 1,00,116 towards Saswatha Annadanam programme at Bhadradri temple here on Sunday.

District Additional Judge Rama Devi from West Godavari has visited the temple along with family. She was welcomed by the temple priests and officers as per temple The priests performed special abhishekam to the main idols of Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshmana during the early hours of on the day, which is conducted only on Sunday.

As part of Arjitha Seva, the priests performed Nithya Kalayanam and suvarna pushpa pujas (Puja with golden flowers) in the temple.The temple witnessed large number of devotees on Sunday.
