Farmers welfare is our top priority: Uttam
Manuguru (Kothagudem): “Our top most priority is farmers and will ensure that they will enjoy the fruits of all welfare schemes,” stated TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy.
He addressed at a public meeting at Manuguru of Pinapaka constituency on Tuesday, on the second day of Congress bus yatra. Manuguru coal belt area people gave a warm welcome to party leaders.
The TPCC chief spewed fire on the TRS government for not implementing welfare schemes in the State. He assured the farmers that the Congress, if comes to power, will waive off the crop loans. Congress is committed to develop the State in all angles.
Uttam criticised that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is mesmerising the people with his speeches, without helping the people. “During the TRS’ four years’ rule, did a single employee of SCCL has got profit of any type,” he questioned.
Saying that the Congress will come to power in the next elections, the TPCC chief promised that they, after coming to power in next elections, would resolve the dependent jobs issue and regularise the contract workers working in SCCL.
The public response to Congress bus yatra shows that the people are definitely vote for the party in the next elections, he observed.
Party leaders Revanth Reddy, Balaram Naik, Pounguleti Sudhakar Reddy, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Shabbeer Ali, Rega Kantha Rao and others particiapted in the meeting.
