Hanumanthu ordered gram panchayat officials and municipality officials to arrange temporary water kiosks at all main centers in city, railway stations, and bus stations in the district.

He reviewed the pending applications received during Grievance Day and discussed with the officials about the reasons for pending. They were asked to mark the reason for the pending and explain the same to the petitioner after the Grievance Day programme.

The Collector told the petitioners to submit petitions regarding problems in the society and government related problems, but not their personal problems.

He suggested the unemployed youth in the district to submit their applications at Bhavitha Cell at District Rural Development Agency and Integrated Tribal Development Agency, if they want jobs.

These departments will conduct job mela in the district. Hanumanthu told the officials of Swachh Bharat and other departments concerned to speed up the construction works of individual toilets in their villages.

He asked them to motivate the villagers towards construction of individual toilets, since the district has more funds under Swachh Bharat scheme.

The Monday’s grievance day witnessed huge number of petitioners, most of them seeking sanction of double bedroom houses.

Joint Collector M Ramkishan, district revenue officer Kiran Kumar, district rural development agency project director P Jagath Kumar Reddy, revenue divisional officer Ravindernath and other district officials participated in the Grievance Day.

In Bhadrachalam, Integrated Tribal Welfare Agency conducted Girijan Darbar. Several tribal people submitted their petitions to the unit officers. Assistant project officer Bheem Rao and district tribal welfare officer Rammurthy and unit officers received petitions.
