Gadwal Collector stresses need to exploit resources for development of district
Gadwal: Rajat Kumar Saini, who served as District Collector for Gadwal district for the past two years, is transferred as Director of Dharani Project.
While sharing his views and development initiatives taken by him in Gadwal with the media, the Collector felt that Gadwal has endowed with resources to ensure its development. He stressed the need for tapping the resources the socio-political scenario in the district.
He also found fault with the age-old customs which are acting as hindrance for the children and youth of the district to access education. “To bring a change in the socio-cultural and economic development education among the children is must. The people of this region must realise the importance of education and only then they can come out of poverty,” observed the outgoing collector.
He specifically stressed that the political system of this region is one of the major causes of backwardness in this area. He said one of the most important initiatives that he has taken to resolve the people’s problems is the ‘Nivedana’ mobile application. He expected that his successor would also implement this application to know the people’s grievances and resolve them at the earliest with ease.
