Refresh course for Armed Reserve Police held in Khammam
Khammam: Physical and mental fitness helps the police personnel discharge their duties in a disciplined manner, said Police Commissioner Tafseer Iqbal here on Wednesday.
The Police Commissioner was participating in the closing ceremony of the “Refresh Course” conducted for 15 days for the Armed Reserved Police at police parade grounds here.
Speaking on the occasion, Tafseer Iqbal said the Refresh Course would help the personnel to a great extent in future in discharging their duties perfectly.
The police personnel, who performed well during the training period, would get rewards, the Police Commissioner said.
He congratulated the Armed Reserve Police for completing the training period successfully. The parade organised by the Armed Reserve Police, sniffer dog squad and band staff on the occasion attracted many.
For the well-being of police personnel several welfare programmes would be implemented, he said. He also assured the personnel that their grievances, if any, would be redressed.
Additional DCP Suresh Kumar, AR Assistant Commissioner of Police Venkateshwarlu and Vijay Babu, Reserve Inspectors Srinivas, Madan Mohan, Nageshwar Rao, Ravi and Reserve Sub-inspector Nageshwar Rao were present.
