Khammam: Official Spokesperson of the District Congress Committee (DCC) Puvvalla Durga Prasad on Thursday took objections to the unsavoury comments made by the TRS leaders against the TPCC Working President Mallu Bhatti Vikdramarka.

Speaking to the media at Sanjeeva Reddy Bhavan here, Durga Prasad alleged that the TRS leaders Budan Baig and Kondabala Lakshminarayana should not have criticised Vikramarka. He said the TPCC Working President on Wednesday questioned the government for failing to ensure minimum support price to farmers, while boasting about Rythu Bandhu scheme.   It is the responsibility of the government to fix minimum support price for the produce and pay compensation to the rain-hit farmers, he said.

The DCC spokesperson claimed that the TRS government had redesigned the irrigation projects, which were launched during the Congress regime, only for “commissions.” The people were watching every move being made the political parties and they would teach a fitting lesson to the TRS, he said. District Congress party Seva Dal Chairman Md. Javed was present at the programme.
