Harijan Sevak Sangh praises KCR to the skies
Khammam: Harijan Sevak Sangh (HSS) State President Kota Gurumurthy here on Thursday described the introduction of Rythu Bandhu scheme as a historic decision. He praised Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for unveiling the first-of-its-kind scheme.
In a statement released here, Gurumurthy said the Nizam rulers had gifted lands to the people belonging to Scheduled Castes community. The TRS government through purification of land records had sanctioned pattadar passbooks to the Scheduled Castes farmers on the lands gifted by the Nizam rulers.
Every farmer belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, weaker sections and Minorities would be benefited by the Ryth Bandhu scheme. The credit of allotting Rs 12,000 crores in the Budget for farming sector and distributing cheques of Rs 8,000 per an acre of land for every farmer should go to the Chief Minister, he said. He further said the Chief Minister was striving hard for all-round development of the State.
