One arrested for theft; gold ornaments recovered

​Bharachalam:  A man was arrested for theft by the police here on Friday. The police recovered 97 gram gold ornaments from him, according to the police. Circle Inspector Satyanarayana Reddy said the thief, B Ganesh, who hailed from West Godavari district was found moving in a suspicious manner at Ambedkar Centre in the temple town in the wee hours of Friday. 

The police immediately detained him and interrogated him. During the interrogation, Ganesh confessed to have committed theft. During a thorough search, it was found that the stolen ornaments were hidden on his body. The police recovered stolen ornaments and arrested him. He was produced before court, the police said adding that further investigation was on.
