Prajavani put off due to Rythu Bandhu scheme in Kothagudem

Kothagudem: The Prajavani (Grievance Day) programme, scheduled to be held on Monday, has been postponed, according to District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanthu here on Friday. 

The programme was postponed as all district officials were busy with the Rythu Bandhu scheme which was meant for providing crop investment assistance to farmers across the State, he said.

The Rythu Bandhu cheque and passbook distributions are being carried out in the district successfully, according to officials. 

Many officials and public representatives participated in the programmes and distributed cheques and pattedar passbooks to the beneficiaries across the district. Kothagudem MLA Jalagam Venkat Rao participated in the programme in Palvoncha and distributed cheques to eligible farmers. 

In Aswaraopet village, local MLA Tati Venkateswara participated in the programme and distributed passbooks and cheques to the farmers.
