Finance Secretary pleased with pace of Rythu Bandhu cheque distribution in Miryalguda

Miryalguda: Chief Secretary for Finance Ramakrishna Rao here on Tuesday expressed satisfaction over distribution of pattadar passbooks and Rythu Bandhu checks. As a part of inspecting the process of distribution of Rythu Bandhu cheques and Pattadar passbooks, he visited the district. 

Speaking to the media at Roads and Buildings guest house in Mirtyalguda, the officials said as on Tuesday morning, as many as 18,10,605 Rythu Bandhu cheques were distributed across the State. Thirty five per cent of total 58 lakh cheques were already distributed to the farmers, he said.  

He sais as much as Rs 5,860 crore was made available in the banks to help the farmers enchase the cheques.  Ramkrishna Rao interacted with the farmers at the State Bank of India branch at Vemulapally under Miryalguda constituency. He was accompanied by District Collector Gaurav Uppal, Joint Collector Narayana Reddy, Miryalguda RDO Gopal Rao, JD Agriculture Nasimha Rao and others.
