Shata Chandi Maha Yagam concluded in Jadcherla

Mahbubnagar: The three-day Shata Chandi Maha Yagam conducted at Srigir Kshetra Asta Laxmi Temple premises in Jadcherla mandal concluded on Tuesday. 

On the concluding day, Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy along with Health Minister C Laxma Reddy took part in the event. They felt that with this Homa Yagnam the people in the State, particularly in Mahbubnagar would secure prosperity and live in peace.

As part of concluding day, the Health Minister along with his wife Swetha conducted the Homa Yagnam at the prime Homa Kundam. The Veda pundits helped them conduct Ganapati Pooja and Kalasha pooja on the occasion. 

Concurrently, a total of 108 couples from across Jadcherla had participated in the Homam and they all were seated at 108 Homa Kundams also conducted Homam. A large number of family members of all these couples who took part in the Homam was also present and participated in the Maha Yagnam. 

The veda pundits also helped the 108 couples to conduct Ganapati pooja and Kalasha Pooja and recited the 13 chapters of Chandi Homa recitations they successfully.

Upon conclusion of everything the Veda Pundits administered the final Shata Chandi Maha Yaagam concluding Poornahuti programme. Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy was the special invitee for this final and concluding important programme of the Maha Yagnam. 

While talking on the occasion, the Home Minister said, “I wish that this Homam will bring peace, tranquillity, happiness and prosperity among the people.”

Referring to earlier Ayuta Chandi Yaagam conducted by Chief Minister K Chandrashekara Rao, the Home Minister said during that time, the entire state of Telangana was blessed with bountiful of rains. 

Speaking on the occasion, Laxma Reddy said the main objective of this Yagam is to ensure that the State is more prosperous and the people live in peace.
