Bhadrachalam Hundi revenue at Rs 80 lakh after first day counting

Bhadrachalam: The counting of hundis in Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Devasthanam in Bhadrachalam was started on Monday. Counting continued from morning to evening at Chitrakuta Mandapam in the temple premises, monitored by temple Executive Officer K Prabhakar Srinivas.
The EO said the income of some of the hundis collection after first day counting was Rs 80 lakhs. Counting of the remaining 13 hundis will be held on Tuesday (May 29) and then the total income will be announced. The EO said they are expecting Rs one crore hundi income during the last 46 days, since the temple witnessed heavy rush during summer vacations.
