Police conduct cordon and search operation in Bhongir

 ​Bhongir: The police conductedcordon and search operation at Paccharlabore Thanda of Bhongir mandal in the district in early hours of Thursday.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Ramachandra Reddyalong withAssistant Commissioner of Police Jithender Reddy,five Circle Inspectors, 15 Sub-Inspectors and 100personnel carried out the operation in the village and seized 29bikes, two lorries as the owners failed to produce valid papers. Police took eight suspicious persons into their custody  and sealed three belt shops.

During the operation, policesearched about 200 houses in thevillageand verified the details of the persons staying in them.

Speaking to the media, Ramachandra Reddy appealed to the villagers to pass on any information about any illegal activityin their village and also about the suspicious persons to make Bhongir-Yadadri a crime free district.
