KTR to lay foundation for IT park in Mahbubnagar
Mahbubnagar: After announcement of granting an Information Technology park in Mahbubnagar a year ago, Minister for Information Technology K Taraka Rama Rao is expected to lay foundation stone for it on Saturday at Divitipally village.
Information this to the media, Mahbubnagar MLA Srinivas Goud said the new information technology park would be built in 300 acres and it would provide thousands of jobs to the youth of the district.
“In fact this is a dream come true for the people of Mahbubnagar. IT Minister KTR will lay the foundation stone for the construction of IT towers and very soon software companies will launch their operations from this park and provide jobs to lakhs of people in the district.
The government has already sanctioned Rs 100 crore for the IT Park to acquire the land and almost 90 per cent of land acquisition has been completed,” said the MLA.
Earlier, Srinivas Goud made an appeal to KTR to sanction an IT Park to the district and soon the Minister sanctioned it. It is expected that already 18 software companies have evinced interests to invest in the IT Park and by next few year Mahbubnagar will become an IT hub.
