Iranian President visits Qutub Shahi tombs in Hyderabad

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Friday visited the famous Qutub Shahi tombs in Hyderabad.

He visited the toms popularly known as seven tombs and built-in Iranian architecture style in the Golconda area in the city. 

Telangana government officials briefed the Iranian president about the historic site.

During the course of the day, he will also go round the world famous Salarjung Museum.

He will be addressing a Muslim congregation at the historic Mecca Masjid after performing Friday prayers in the afternoon. The congregation will have religious scholars from different schools of thought participate in the session.

In view of Mr Rouhani’s visit, tight security arrangements have been made and traffic curbs are imposed on several roads in the city.
