Suspecting deaths caused by sorcery, family kills man in Telangana
A 64-year-old agricultural labourer was allegedly killed by a family in Nalgonda district on Tuesday. The deceased, identified as K Ramulu was killed on the suspicion that he was allegedly performing sorcery.
The incident took place at Teratigudem village where the family of six killed him after alleging that he was performing sorcery which led to the death of two members of their family.
As per the details, a fellow villager V Sallu lost his wife a year ago owing to ill health and his son too committed suicide recently.
Suspecting that Ramulu performed sorcery which led to the death of his wife and son, Sallu attacked Ramulu’s son.
When Ramulu went to Sallu’s house to question the reason behind the attack, Sallu and his five other family members blamed him for the two deaths and attacked him with knives, killing him.
