Police take BJP leaders into custody over protests against KCR

BJP activists who attempted to stage a protest at Pragathi Bhavan on Monday against Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao‘s remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi were taken into custody.
Thwarting their attempts of protest, the police teams were deployed near the state BJP along with the Hyderabad BJP President N Ramchander Rao’s residence in the early hours of the day.
Telangana BJP president K Laxman, Ramchander Rao and G Kishan Reddy were arrested around 10.30 am and taken to the police station.
The BJP Hyderabad unit called for an agitation on Sunday to express their anger against the Chief Minister’s comments.
