Another bulletproof house for CM KCR
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s current residence at Pragathi Bhavan is completely bulletproof. Now, he is set to get another bulletproof residence in Gajwel town, where the CM was elected as an MLA in 2014 elections.
The new residence/camp office is currently under construction and is set to be completed in two months.
Following the Naxal threat, the Telangana government has decided to equip the camp office/official residence of KCR with a bulletproof facility in Gajwel for which Rs 2 crore has been allotted additionally.
Bulletproof doors will be fitted to all the windows and special barricades will be erected as part of security measures for which Rs 50 lakh will be spent.
Last year, a national debate ensued following the installation of bulletproof windows and doors in the Hyderabad residence.
