KTR inaugurates 'Wings India 2018' in Hyderabad
Telangana IT and Industries Minister K T Rama Rao on Thursday inaugurated the biennial event on Civil Aviation and Aerospace titled 'Wings India 2018' at the Begumpet Airport.
Jointly organised by the Civil Aviation Ministry, Airports Authority of India and the Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, the four-day event got underway at a colourful function.
Addressing the occasion, KTR said that Hyderabad city was set to become the centre for Aviation Sector and is an ideal location for the establishment of Aviation University.
The Minister even mentioned that many aviation industry giants including Boeing had come forward to establish their units in the city.
Interestingly, Union Aviation Minister P Ashok Gajapathi Raju who was to inaugurate the event nor did Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who was to be the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony.
