Earlier in the day, YSRCP MPs met at YV Subba Reddy’s residence. Speaking after the meeting, Reddy said that the YSRCP would continue its battle and alleged that Chandrababu had bartered the interests of the state to save himself from the Cash for Votes. He said that it was only because of the YSRCP struggle that the issue has come back onto the agenda.

YSRCP MPs staged a dharna and protested at the Speaker’s podium on Thursday. In the Rajya Sabha, MP Vijaya Sai Reddy continued the protest. Earlier, the MPs shouted slogans at the Parliament entrance gate.
