TDP insulted me: Kavitha
BJP leader and film actress Kavitha has accused Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his followers of plotting to edge her out of the TDP. She said that Chandrababu cannot tolerate the growth of any person.
Speaking during an interview, she said that Chandrababu has become the chief minister only due to the sacrifices and toil of countless workers. She said that she was repeatedly insulted and subjected to slights during her stay in the Telugu Desam.
She said she was promised a party ticket and in the last minute, she was sidelined and the ticket went to Vasupalli Ganesh, who changes parties as one changes one’s dresses. Kavitha was in tears explaining the insults she faced in the TDP.
Kavitha has since left the TDP and has joined the BJP.
