I don't need Chandrababu's nod to go to PMO: Vijay Sai Reddy

A defiant Vijaya Sai Reddy, YSRCP’s senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP, has said that he does not need Chandrababu Naidu’s permission to meet the Prime Minister or to go to the Prime Minister’s office. He said he can meet anyone he likes.

He was referring to Chandrababu’s comments that Vijay Sai Reddy is always seen in the PMO. Chandrababu said this to hint at a possible BJP-YSRCP collusion.
 
Talking to reporters on Wednesday, Vijay Sai Reddy said that Chandrababu has the habit of changing political partner every three years. Chandrababu has no sincerity on the issue of special status. 

“He once said special package was better. Today, he says he wants only special category. Initially, he said he would back YSRCP’s No Confidence Motion, but now he has backtracked on this too,” Vijay Sai Reddy said.

He said the YSRCP is the only party which is sincere about the special status. The party has been waging a relentless battle for the special status and would continue to do so, he said.
