Private travels bus catches fire

Kanchikacharla: A major tragedy was averted when staff at a toll plaza at Keesara in Kanchikacharla mandal of Krishna district noticed fire emanating from the tyres of a bus belonging to private travels Orange travels on Monday morning. 

They immediately alerted the driver, who stopped the bus and put out the fires. The 40-odd passengers were asked to get down from the bus. The passengers heaved a sigh of relief as a tragedy has been averted.

The bus was on its way to Vijayawada from an unknown destination.
