Question Hour cancelled in Telangana Assembly

Telangana Legislature Assembly proceedings began on Tuesday sans the Question Hour, which normally heralds the day's proceedings in Assembly and Council.

Soon after it assembled for the day, the Assembly took up discussion immediately on the appropriation bill authorizing the government to withdraw money from the Exchequer to meet expenditure during the financial year.

The Council also took short notice discussions on various subjects including waiver of loans of handloom workers.

Meanwhile, the BJP gave a notice of its adjournment motion on meagre allotment of funds in Telangana annual budget for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal areas.
