Hyderabad Metro Rail to extend service for IPL matches
With the Indian Premier League’s next season gearing up, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) is providing the commuters extended rail service which will run till 12.30 am on the match days in April and May.
The frequency of trains to and from the Rajiv Gandhi cricket stadium in Uppal will also be increased on the match days.

HMRL managing director NVS Reddy stated that the timings extension recently experimented for a cricket match at Uppal stadium and it will continue for IPL.
Mentioning that one train is being operated every 8 minutes on the Miyapur to Ameerpet corridor and one every 15 minutes on the Ameerpet to Nagole corridor, he said that they are planning to increase the frequency to one train every 8 minutes for the cricket fans to reach the stadium in time.
