Hyderabad: Woman and her lover kill husband to continue affair, arrested

A 24-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday along with her lover on charges of killing her husband on March 31. 

A juvenile has also been arrested and sent to a correctional home for helping the suspects to eliminate the body after the murder.

According to the police, the woman, N Kavitha filed a missing complaint on March 31 stating that her husband, N Raju, was missing for 12 hours. Police after putting up a search found his body from bushes near Gurramguda under the Vanasthalipuram police station on April 2.

Upon questioning, Kavitha confessed that she had killed her husband to continue her affair with a relative, identified as N Suman.

Kavitha, who married Raju six years ago came to Hyderabad from Vavillapally of Yadadri district two years ago. Raju, teamed up with Suman for a parking place on contract after his tiffin centre business failed. 

Following this, Suman made frequent visits to Raju’s house in his absence.

The police informed that Suman and Kavitha developed a relationship and as they wanted to continue their affair, they hatched a plan to kill him. 

Raju was strangulated to death and his body was thrown in the bushes.
