Telangana only state in country providing highest priority for welfare: KTR

IT Minister KT Rama Rao laid the foundation stone for several developments works in Khammam district on Monday. Addressing a public meeting in the district, KTR stressed that the development of Telangana is helping the country’s development.

Mentioning that Telangana is the only state in the country providing the highest priority for welfare, he said that Telangana has emerged from the poor’s hard work.

Calling the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s governance a golden age for welfare, the Minister said the state government is spending more than Rs 4,000 crore on pensions and that 42 lakh people are being given pensions. 

He even mentioned that each person is being provided 6 kg rice irrespective of the number of members in the family.

KTR further asserted that KCR’s view of Mission Bhagirath was aimed to provide water to women who struggle the most due to the lack of water.
