Gandhi Hospital doctors stage protest regarding lack of facilities

Resuming a strike, a year later, a group of senior doctors from different departments of Gandhi Hospital took up slogans - We need CAS (career advancement scheme) and We want sanction of transport allowance.

However, the services remained unaffected as the doctors did not let the treatment and patients get affected.

The doctors involved only one doctor each from six different departments to turn up in the strike.

According to a steering committee member of Telangana Government Doctors' Association, the strike is to bring notice the difficulties regarding the increasing number of patients and lack of facilities. 

They are planning to continue with six different doctors every day and plan to intensify the strike if the government doesn’t listen to their demand within a week.
