Hyderabad: Two teenagers injured after crashing bike into SUV

Two teenagers suffered injuries after the two-wheeler they were travelling crashed into an SUV in Banjara Hills on Sunday.

According to the police, the victims were identified as Chetan Dalia and S Gopal, both aged about 19 years.

The mishap took place at around 2.10 am when they were heading on the bike towards TRS Bhavan from Virinchi Hospital. The police stated that due to the ongoing pipeline works one-way traffic restrictions were imposed on the stretch and Chetan who was at the wheel, didn’t notice the SUV coming in the opposite direction.

He rammed the bike into the vehicle and due to the impact both of them fell on the ground. The front portion of the SUV was damaged completely in the accident.

Locals rushed the two youngsters to a local private hospital and their condition was stated to be normal. A case was registered based on a complaint and the two-wheeler was seized. Further investigation was on.
