KTR demands action against TSRTC for screening pirated version of Krishnarjuna Yuddham
With Tollywood taking several measures to crack down piracy, it came as a shock when a government institute was caught being involved in piracy of Telugu films.
A TSRTC Volvo bus travelling from Hyderabad to Bengaluru was screening the latest Nani flick - Krishnarjuna Yuddham, a day after its release.
Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao was alerted on Twitter in this regard by a passenger travelling in the bus.
Tweet:
@NameisNani @tsrtc @KTRTRS privacy failure on bus travel. Garuda Volvo bus trip to Bengaluru from hyd. How can you ask a common man avoid privacy when an institute fails. Movie released yesterday. #krishnarjunayudham #avoidprivacy details of bus can be given on DM pic.twitter.com/VLPP0ks6xU

KTR, responding to the same issued a stern warning to TSRTC and directed the JMD to take action and prevent such happenings in the future.
Tweet:
That’s extremely irresponsible on the part of the @TSRTCHQ staff of this bus. Request JMD of @TSRTCHQ to make sure to act and prevent recurrence https://t.co/lR2Ga8Wy70
