Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan lauds functioning of Telangana Police

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday lauded the functioning of Telangana Police and the infrastructure provided to the department. 

Visiting the Punjagutta police station in Hyderabad, he stated that they will send a team to Telangana to study the functioning of police stations in detail and implement the same in Kerala.

According to an official release, the Kerala Chief Minister visited the Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate along with Telangana Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy and the state's Director General of Police M Mahender Reddy.

As per the release, he observed the process of petition registration at the reception counter to the processing of the complaint. 

Pinarayi Vijayan also visited Technology Fusion Centre and Traffic Command Control Centre in the Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate where the Telangana DGP explained the working of TS COP and Hawk-Eye Mobile Applications. 

Earlier this year, the Punjagutta police station was announced as the second best police station in India in a survey conducted by the Quality Council of India and Ministry of Home Affairs.
