Congress portraying parties opposing them as pro-BJP: Harish Rao

Telangana Irrigation Minister Harish Rao hit back strongly against the Opposition party Congress during the ‘Raithu Bandham’ scheme implementation in Sangareddy district on Monday.

Stating that Congress has been portraying the parties that are not supporting them as pro-BJP, he said their focus was only on the interests of the state.

Questioning the Congress government as to why the Irrigation projects in the AP Reorganization Act 2014 were not awarded National Status, Harish Rao further said that the Congress leaders in the state don’t hold any integrity as for them, the power and politics come first instead of the people of the state.

The Minister concluded by saying that the TRS government will be distributing Rs 750 crores for the farmers in joint Medak district.
