KTR's tweet leads Hyderabad student to donate Rs 50,000 to CMRF
IT Minister KT Rama Rao’s recent tweet has inspired a Class X student from Hyderabad to donate an amount of Rs 50,000 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF).
The student, Vishruth Devireddy had saved up his pocket money for months to purchase a mobile phone with the money. However, after reading a tweet by KTR on April 23, he changed his mind.
Coming to know that the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in Telangana supported more than one lakh families, Vishruth decided to contribute and handed over a cheque to the Minister on Tuesday morning.
