Modi and Chandrababu are responsible for denying SCS: Vijay Sai Reddy

Vizag: The YSRCP will observe a ‘Betrayal Day’ on April 30 in protest against the Chandrababu Naidu Government at the State and Narendra Modi Government at the Centre for their refusal to accord special status to Andhra Pradesh, said YSRCP senior leader and MP Vijay Sai Reddy.

Talking to mediapersons at Vizag, Vijay Sai Reddy said both Modi and Naidu were responsible for denying special status to Andhra Pradesh.

He reminded that both Modi and Chandrababu had promised the people of Andhra Pradesh on April 30, 2014 at Tirupati that the state would be given special category status. But, both the BJP and the TDP have backtracked on the assurance, he said reminding that only YSRCP was fighting for the rights of the Telugus.

He said that senior YSRCP leaders, including MLAs, MPs, will take part in the Betrayal Day programmes.
