Shock to YSRCP, senior leader joins TDP

YSRCP’s senior leader and former Parvathipuram MLA Satrucharla Chandrasekhara Raju has left the party to join the TDP. He became a TDP member in the presence of Minister Nara Lokesh on Thursday. Former Union Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju and several others were present on the occasion.

Chandrasekhara Raju has been known to be very close to late YSR and is the uncle of Kurupam MLA Pushpa Sri Vani. He was among the senior most leaders of the YSRCP and among the first leader to join the YSRCP in the north Andhra region. His joining could affect the YSRCP prospects in the north Andhra region.
