KCR compares India's growth with Singapore, China

TRS party President and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao speaking at the party’s 17th plenary in Kompally today called for the formation of a non-Congress and non-BJP Federal Front.

Questioning as to what the Congress and BJP did for the country despite have ruled the country for 70 years, KCR said that India lags behind on so many fronts.

He pointed out that despite the availability of 70,000 TMC water, neither the farmers are being availed the water nor is the drinking water problem resolved.

Strongly criticising the Congress and BJP in his speech, KCR declared the proposed Federal Front will show what India is truly capable of adding that his move will provide water to every cultivable acre in the country within a span of 7 years.

He even put forth the comparisons between India’s growth and countries Singapore and China.

Mentioning about ports, KCR said that Singapore has a coastline of 193Kms with the country alone handling 4 Crore containers while China handles 19.59 Crore containers but India, with a coastline of 9500Kms, handles only 87 Lakh Containers.

He stated that a goods train in China travels with the speed of 80Kms but it is only 24 km in India which shows the competence of 70 years of BJP-Congress Rule.
