Reactor explosion in Moosapet chemical factory leaves man critically injured

In a mishap that took place in a chemical factory, one person suffered serious injuries. The incident took place on Thursday evening when a reactor in a chemical factory in Moosapet exploded.

According to the reports, the victim, Vara Prasad, was standing close to the reactor, suffered injuries and was shifted to a hospital. 

The blast occurred in Biochemical and Synthetic Products Pvt Ltd. While the company authorities have not revealed the reason that led to the blast, the police have launched a probe. 

The locals who heard the major blast are panic-struck over the situation.

Reports suggest that the unit suffered damage under the impact of the blast.
