Girls outshine boys in AP SSC results

The results of the SSC examination in Andhra Pradesh have been declared. While, 6.17 lakh regular students took the examination, 94.48 per cent of them have passed the test.

 Of them, 94.56 per cent are girls and 94.41 are boys. While Prakasam district with 97.93 per cent stood at the top of the chart, Nellore with 80.37 per cent stood last. Interestingly, this time too, the girls pipped past in the examination results.

Among the private students, the pass percentage is 78.35 per cent. Of them, girls accounted for 79.42 per cent. As many as 11358 schools have secured cent per cent pass. In 17 schools, the pass percentage is zero. The advanced supplementary exams wold be held from Jule 11 and the last date for paying the fee is May 30.
