Dachepalli rape: 17 teams to nab rapist

Andhra Pradesh DGP Malakondaiah expressed deep anguish at the rape of a nine-year-old in Dachepalli. He said  the rape by a 50-year-old person on the tiny tot was despicable and said that efforts were on to nab the man. 

He said that Subbaiah was mentally deranged as both his wives left him. He said Subbaiah was reported to have gone towards Krishna River.

 He said that as many as 17 teams were conducting a manhunt for the culprit. He asked the locals to remain calm and not to resort to arson, looting and violence. He said that efforts were on to bring Subbaiah to book.
