Kotamreddy cries foul, says political vendetta against YSRCP MLAs

YSRCP MLA from Nellore rural Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy said attempts were on to defame the YSRCP MLAs. He said he would not tolerate political vendetta against the Opposition MLAs. Kotamreddy has been accused by the Nellore police that he was involved in cricket betting and has helped Krishna Singh, the alleged kingpin of cricket betting racket.

Refuting these allegations, the MLA dared the police to make pubic his call data and prove that he was linked to the kingpin. Referring to the police claims that he had called up several officers asking them to bail out Krishna Singh, he asked the police to make public the names of the officials he had called up. He said several TDP ministers have felicitated the bookies and have erected banners welcoming them. Why are they not being booked, he asked.

He said if the police have any proof that he met Krishna Singh in a hotel in Vijayawaa and in the R and B guesthouse in Kadapa, they shoud make them public. Prove the allegations and I will resight from my post forthwith, Kotamreddy said.
