Telangana Congress leaders meet Governor Narasimhan on party MLAs HC verdict

Telangana Congress leaders on Monday met Governor of the two Telugu states, ESL Narasimhan to hold discussions on the court verdict on the termination of the membership of the party MLAs and the damage caused by untimely rains in Telangana. However, MLA Sampath Kumar chose not to attend the meeting held at Raj Bhavan.

After meeting Governor, TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy said the Telangana government should not be run by the High Court to decide on the abolition of the two MLAs. He shared that they met the governor in this regard and requested him to reinstate the membership of Sampath Kumar and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. Uttam Kumar stated that the Governor responded positively regarding the issue.

TPCC Working President Bhatti Vikramarka has submitted a memorandum to the Chief Secretary of the party under the direction of the High Courts ruling on the dissolution of two MLAs. Speaking on this occasion, he said, "People need to be elected and need to restore the membership of the honorary members who want to bring people's attention to the House.

He said the government had asked the Chief Secretary to take action to immediately execute the ruling by the state administration.
