KCR wants NREGA and Agriculture linage

Telangana Chief Minister KCR on Thursday demanded that the Centre link the National Employment Guarantee scheme with the agriculture.

 Speaking after inaugurating the Rythu Bandhu scheme in Huzurabad, KCR said that the Centre should bear half the labour charges and the farmer the remaining part. He also demanded that the Centre announce support price for all crops.

He was critical of the Congress for neglecting the agriculture sector during its reign. He said the Telangana Congress leaders have ruined the agriculture sector and worked as the stooges of the Andhra rulers. When the then chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy said that he would not give even a single rupee for Telangana, these leaders kept quiet. “Why are these leaders opposing Kaleswaram,” he asked.
